WQ-P1301 is a micronized polypropylene(PP) wax similar to clariant 6721for solvent based coatings and inks. The product can improve the surface hardness of coatings and inks, and provides properties such as scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, anti-blocking, polishing resistance, smoothness, anti-caking, moderate matte finish, and reduction of pigment and filler properties to the coating surface. In addition, it can reduce the precipitation of silica matting agents, thus achieving a matte effect.

In wood coatings it provides additionally soft touch and anti blocking performance.
It is also used as an additive to improve the sand ability. It also helps to prevent metal markings.
In leather coatings, WQ-P1301 can be used as a slipping agent.
