(WL-AD3935)This water-based hydroxylated acrylic dispersion is designed for formulating high-performance, two-component polyurethane (2K PU) topcoats and clearcoats when cured with a water-based isocyanate. It provides cured films with excellent hardness, flexibility, solvent resistance, water resistance, and weatherability on various metal and wood substrates.
This product is also commonly recommended as an alternative to Bayhydrol® A2470.

The viscosity of the product is affected by the pH value, as the pH value increases, the viscosity and thixotropy will increase.
Features:
Fast drying;
Rapid hardness development;
High gloss & fullness;
Long pot life;
Versatile application methods.
Curing Agent Preparation & Mixing:
Dilute the water-based isocyanate curing agent to 60-70% solids using a suitable co-solvent (e.g., PGDA or PMA+DBE blend [1:2]) prior to use. Combine Component A (main agent) and Component B (curing agent) and mix thoroughly using a pneumatic or electric stirrer. Subsequently, dilute the mixture with water, typically 5-25% based on Component A weight.
Grinding Application:
While the system exhibits excellent wettability suitable for grinding, limit grinding time to less than 2 hours and temperature to below 50°C. Exercise caution, as grinding introduces variables that may compromise stability.
