WL-AD224 is a modified light yellow transparent liquid epoxy resin. It is recommended to be used with a waterborne epoxy curing agent to prepare a two-component waterborne epoxy zinc-rich coating. It is designed for anti-corrosion primers for various metal substrates.
The WL-AD224 coating system utilizes our company's proprietary WL-AC043 hardener, forming a two-component epoxy zinc-rich coating specifically engineered for heavy-duty corrosion protection. During the production process of this coating system, the zinc powder content can range from 30% to 80%. The resulting formulation enables high-build coating capabilities (600-1200 μm DFT) with zero sag resistance, demonstrating excellent application properties and superior salt spray resistance. Laboratory testing confirms a salt spray resistance duration exceeding 2000 hours, with typical performance reaching 2500-3000 hours under standard ASTM B117 conditions.
