Thermoplastic Solid Acrylic Resin For Heat Sealing Film
Product Description

SA-24A is a thermoplastic solid acrylic resin, a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and butyl methacrylate. It is particularly suitable for manufacturing heat-seal coatings for sealing aluminum foil (instead of PVC and polystyrene) in food packaging that complies with food regulations. It provides excellent and secure heat seal in combination with smooth peeling, offering economical and environmentally friendly packaging solutions. SA-24A exhibits good adhesion to various substrates such as plastics, paper, textiles, and metals, all of which can be sealed. It can also be used in the manufacture of printing inks, primers, ceramic transfer inks, cigarette packaging inks, and adhesives.

SA-24A is easily soluble in various organic solvents such as ketones, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons, glycol e-thers, glycol e-ther acetates and chlorinated hydrocarbons. It also has good compatibility with other resins, including acrylic resins, vinyl resins, nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber etc..
