WQ-2011 Waterborne acrylic resin is a non-film forming copolymer emulsion based on styrene and acrylates. Similar to counterpart Joncryl 89, WQ-2011 provides gloss and clarity, adhesion and low VOC to overprint varnish formulations. While Joncryl 89 is for general purpose in flexo and gravure printing, WQ-2011 is more specially developed for flexo printing against hard substrates and mainly utilized as the primer and ink modifier, offering excellent performance in enhancing print quality and ink stability.
WQ-2011 is widely used in the following areas:
- Packaging Printing: Enhances the print quality and durability of packaging materials.
- Label Printing: Improves ink adhesion and color consistency on labels.
- Industrial Printing: Suitable for printing on various substrates, including plastics and metals.
WQ-2011 acrylic resin provides strong adhesion to a variety of substrates, including paper, plastic films, and metal foils. It exhibits excellent resistance to water and chemicals, ensuring durability in demanding environments. Besides, this resin forms a smooth, uniform film, enhancing the clarity and color vibrancy of printed materials. In addition, WQ-2011 is compatible with a wide range of ink systems, making it a versatile choice for different printing needs.
